Just joined the men's site and want to know if anyone else plays bass guitar. I am working on learning and would like to know if anybody else enjoys it. I am a painter by trade and I also like sports, fishing and the Word of God.

I've played off and on again since 1983, and have played in a few punk and metal bands. I was in a band with some guys from MorningStar and I've recently started playing in a worship band with some MorningStar folks as well.
I play a Rickenbacher and am actually getting an acoustic bass sometime next week for homegroup, kids ministry when I don't want to lug my amp around.
